Eastleigh will play Brentwood Town at home in the next stage of FA Cup qualifying. The match at Silverlake Stadium is set for Saturday, October 17, with the victor moving into the competition's first round.
Matt Gray's team, sitting 17th in the National League, will try to prevent a loss to a club from a lower division. Winning would mean joining Football League sides in the subsequent phase and collecting prize money of £9,375. Teams that lose at this stage get £3,125.
"We will be hoping to avoid an upset against lower-league opposition and secure our place alongside EFL clubs in the next stage of the competition," said manager Matt Gray.
Brentwood Town, who play in the Isthmian League Division One North, got here by beating Dagenham & Redbridge 3-1 last time. Eastleigh's results have varied, most recently a 3-1 loss at home to Woking.
Before the cup match, Eastleigh have a league game away against AFC Hornchurch.
